The Steps of Worry-Washing

1. 🪣 Pre-Wash – Emptying Your Backpack

  • Unload old beliefs from your “backpack,” especially those affecting your self-worth.
  • This first step creates space for clarity and inner peace.

 2. 🧽 Scrubbing – The Work™

Question burdensome beliefs with The Work™ by Byron Katie:

Four questions:

  1. Is it true?

  2. Can you absolutely know that it’s true?

  3. How do you react, what happens, when you believe that thought?

  4. Who or what would you be without that thought?

Three Turnarounds:

  • To the opposite
  • To yourself
  • To others

Goal: Discover new perspectives and release mental tension.

3. 💦 High-Pressure Rinse

After self-inquiry, heavy thoughts lose their dominating effect.
Tension dissolves, clarity emerges – often noticeable after just one session.

  • After working on your thoughts:

    • Absorb guidance and insights for daily life

    • Feel calmness, lightness, and inner freedom

    • Experience changes directly
